Our focus for antique furniture is on the 17th and 18th centuries. The selection of Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Classical furniture is extensive; we have over 200 cabinets from this period alone. You'll also find Biedermeier, Historicism, Neo-Gothic, Art Deco, and Art Nouveau furniture with us. Furniture from the 19th and 20th centuries often harmonizes beautifully with pieces from the 17th and 18th centuries.

The combination of antiques with modern design (curated mix) is particularly popular with the younger generation, where the focus is often on craftsmanship and lasting value. The history of an antique is also often a deciding factor in a purchase. Small antiques are often placed as subtle highlights on ultra-modern furniture. Who hasn't stood before an old oil painting hanging in a state-of-the-art apartment and thought: "That looks fantastic, I could see myself having something like that."

In summary, it's fair to say that the younger generation is beginning to appreciate older things. Under the names vintage or retro design, not only furniture and antiques are being offered today, but also clothing from grandma's or grandpa's wardrobe is suddenly back in style.

I once supplied a very modern office with antique cabinets. All the furniture was ultra-modern, and only the filing cabinets were antique. This combination was absolutely stunning. Antique cabinets are also a real eye-catcher in modern living rooms. Often, people lack the imagination, but once you've seen it, you can easily picture furnishing your home like this.
